About Us

Yuuki's Nerd Network began many years ago by two men, Byron (Head Nerd) and Kevin (Big Nerd) in a shoppe in Calgary. The conventions they attended were successful and even though their shop closed from the economic downturn, Big Nerd and Head Nerd agreed one day to reopen their store and in the Spring of 2011 it all came together.

Head Nerd, commonly known as Byron, is the Anime Guru, President and voice of the company. His vision drives the company and it is he who selects the products to be brought in by listening to you, our customers, online and at conventions. A true North American Otaku, Byron believes in constant expansion of our product lines in order to better serve our growing clientele.

Big Nerd, commonly referred to as Kevin, is the business mastermind of the company, and General Manager. His business savy and drive are what gives Yuuki's the organization and focus. An avid Anime watcher and gamer, he strives to improve the company each day to better serve the broadening customer base online and at conventions. Word has it he plans to take the company in a new direction in products to expand the companies operations, so stay tuned!

Merch Nerd, sometimes referred to as Minion #1, now commonly called Jack, is our first employee at our conventions who manages our setup, sales, and tear-down. He also has a penchant for taking pictures of our finely dressed customers for our Facebook page. Merch Nerd is also looking into finding me an Living Avatar to join the guys at the Conventions! I'm so excited I could squee!!

Stock Nerd, commonly called John, is an old friend of Head Nerd and Big Nerd, he enjoys going to the conventions and seeing all the great people and events! What he really enjoys is seeing our products find good homes with you our customers! His spouse, the newly christened Sew Nerd, is a costume designer and seamstress! We're hoping to add her to the fold in the future!

Art Nerd, sometimes called Sean, is our Artist-in-Residence. He has designed most of our unique graphics for our website and other businesses. Sean has several projects on the go and is an industry graphics and art designer in the Gaming industry! Sean and his spouse Mandy, who is also a budding artist with a unique style, are often at the main conventions such as Otafest and Animethon, selling their talents for a reasonable fee. Stop by and see what they have in store for you, and maybe get a portrait done!

Yuuki, is our mascot, but more than that she is a fun seeking Anime Fangirl! She enjoys representing our company as she gets to talk to our best resource about Anime: YOU!

She loves to dress up, whether it is in her battlesuit, her school outfit (she's still in High School boyos), her reporters suit, or lounging on the beach in her swimsuit, Yuuki loves to have a great time! She also happens to be a prankster and often plays jokes on Head Nerd and Big Nerd when they aren't looking to keep them on their toes. She's looking forward to introducing the rest of her family when they are able to free up the time doing secret projects for the bosses.
